Who We Are
A Passion for the Sport
What started as a passion for horses and the sport has grown into a yard where quality and craftsmanship come first. My name is Sem Alfring, and I combine top-level competition with training, campaigning, and selling horses.
I compete at a high level in two disciplines: 3* level in eventing and up to 1.35m in show jumping — achieved with horses I trained myself. That experience of shaping a young horse step by step into a reliable sport partner is the foundation of everything I do.
In 2024, I spent eight months in England as a working student at a 5* eventing yard — a period that shaped me enormously. I trained and competed at the highest level, learned from leading international professionals, and brought that knowledge back home to the Netherlands. I now put it to work every day in my own yard.

Training
Every horse is different, which calls for a tailored approach. From young, green horses to advanced sport horses — I train with patience, structure, and a keen eye for each horse's individual development, drawing on methods from both the Netherlands and my time in England.

Competing
A horse is only truly ready once it proves itself under competition conditions. I campaign horses in both eventing and show jumping, building them up calmly but purposefully toward their own level — whether that's the lower levels or the top classes.

Sales & Brokerage
Looking for the right horse, or want to sell yours? I guide owners through the full sales process with honest advice and a network built within both Dutch and international sport. I also regularly have self-trained horses for sale, ready for the next step in their career.
